John was riding a bicycle, and because he was not careful, he hit a pedestrian. He helped the victim stand up and said, “Hey man, you are really lucky today.” The pedestrian was absolutely furious, and said, “You are truly horrible to say such a thing, that I'm lucky after hitting me with your bicycle. See how my leg is bruised here?” John said, “Surely you're lucky; today is my day off. Otherwise, I would have been driving a heavy truck.”
