2008FEB11 - 5. Tip of the Day - Flipy the Penguin

Flipy the Penguin: Halo brilliant viewers, and welcome back to Noteworthy News – Constructive News for a Loving World.
Flipo the Penguin: Today we’re going to share a tip with you about saving energy.
Flipy the Penguin: It seems simple, but planting a tree in the yard is a good thing to do. One tree can offset tons of carbon over its lifetime. Isn’t that so, Flipo?
Flipo the Penguin: Sure, Flipy! And if the tree is planted properly, it also provides shade on a sunny day.
Flipy the Penguin: Oh… that means it can reduce the use of air-conditioning in buildings and homes, right?
Flipo the Penguin: That’s right, Flipy. So we can save some energy that way.
Flipy the Penguin: Oh yeah! We can even plant a fruit tree, and have delicious fruit to eat and share with our friends.
Flipo the Penguin: Yippee, Flipy! That’s eco-smart, sweetie! Now, let’s thank our viewers for tuning in today, and let’s check out the weather around the globe.
Both: See you next time!
