9. TIME TO ACT…Malawi unveils climate change strategy. Malawi’s President, Bingu wa Mutharika, has announced a national plan to address climate change called the National Adaptation Programmes of Action (NAPA). NAPA will promote sustainable rural development, reforestation, and sound water management.
