Billy the Goat: Halo, and welcome back to Noteworthy News - Merry News for a Loving World. It’s Billy the Goat here, with a tip on how to lessen your use of water. When washing your fresh produce, please consider using the sink or a pan that is partially filled with water, instead of running water from the tap. That way you will have clean fruit and veggies, and save water too! Every little bit helps Mother Earth. And now, it’s time for worldwide weather.

In renewable energy news, German electronics company, Siemens, has opened an office in Singapore to promote wind energy across Asia. Siemens is confident that there will be an increase in the use of sustainable energy sources in the region. Mr. Hans-Dieter Bott, Siemens’ manager in Singapore, said that wind energy sales have become a multi-billion euro market.

Thank you, Siemens, and God’s blessings for your endeavors to expand the use of renewable energy sources around the world. May Earth citizens be granted with a sustainable planet for all to inhabit.

And now for some humor with a joke told by Supreme Master Ching Hai, entitled “Encore for Cookies.”

Mummy said to little Daisy, “Daisy, you want to have a cookie?” Daisy did not respond, and then Mummy asked again, “Daisy, you want to have a cookie?” So then Daisy said, “Yes, Mum.” So Mummy asked. “Why did you let me ask you twice?” Daisy said, “Because I want two cookies.”
