2008FEB11 - 13. TIME TO ACT…Local authorities in Ireland share accomplishments in waste management

13. TIME TO ACT…Local authorities in Ireland share accomplishments in waste management. Organized by Ireland's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a meeting was held to coordinate the efforts being made by local agencies in waste prevention promotion and resource efficiency. Recycling has already been adopted successfully as a practice, with the next step being to demonstrate the financial advantages of further resource management.

We thank the local authorities of Ireland for your sincere concern in maintaining our beautiful environment. May God bless the Emerald Isle to remain ever green.
