7. FN…A 17-year-old Filipino student helps build homes for those in need. Alexandra Madrigal Eduque, a 17-year-old Habitat for Humanity volunteer from Manila in the Philippines, helped build homes in nearby communities with the charity group for a whole summer. She enjoyed her experience so much that she already enrolled with the Philippine National Office to come back next summer. Alexandra even hosted a Habitat Birthday Building party that was attended by the nation’s senator, governor, and a celebrated racer.
Hooray for your accomplishments and wonderful enthusiasm, Alexandra! May your shining acts of humanitarianism bring much hope and love to the deserving recipients of newly built cozy homes.
